CITY PARKS

Liberty Park

Liberty Park is located off of State Route 62 North on Diamond Drive. The Liberty Park Shelter is located near the YMCA where there is a children’s play area, picnic facilities, dog park, disc golf, walking trails, softball, little league, football, and soccer fields, four sand volleyball courts, and an amphitheater.

Shaffer Park

Shaffer Park can be found just off State Route 62, north of the city's center. Shaffer Park serves as the location for the community baseball and softball leagues for youth aged 9 to 17.

Harmony Lake

Drive further back in Liberty Park, you will find 18 holes of Disc Golf, picnic facilities, a walking/biking trail, Harmony Lake, and the Harmony Lake Shelters. Fishing is permitted in the lake but ODNR Fishing Licensing applies.

Dog Park

The Dog Park is located in Liberty Park right by the YMCA parking lot. Make sure to follow the dog park rules that are posted on the fence.

Trout Fishing

This event is offered at no cost and is scheduled to occur at Harmony Lake on Saturday, April 27th, from 10 am to 3 pm.

For our inaugural Trout Fishing Day at Harmony Lake, we're on the lookout for contributions to make the event a success. Our focus is on ensuring every child has a fishing pole to participate. While we understand not every kid will come with their own fishing pole, this is where your support can make a big difference.

Men’s Softball Tournament

Reserve A Shelter

The shelters in Liberty Park and Harmony Lake can be reserved for baby showers, birthday parties, family reunions and more. Shelters may be used without reserving, however, reserving the shelter ensures that it has been set aside for you.
