FRS Transportation has been the Dispatch Center for the Highland Area Rural Transportation System (HARTS) since January 2001. Our goal is to provide safe, accessible and coordinated transportation within Highland, Adams and Brown Counties. FRST provides public transportation throughout the region for a number of different needs such as shopping, employment, medical/mental health, education and any other basic transportation need for a very low cost.  Transport throughout the counties could be for as little as $1-$4 based on where the trip starts and ends. The agency operates service between the hours of 4am and 11pm Monday through Friday and medical appointments Saturday mornings. To better meet transportation needs please call 24hrs ahead for in county transit and 48hrs outside of the county transit to better guarantee a spot is available.
